NSBHM starts alot of threads. Most of them about Tom Galligan or anything to do with city workers, councilman, city attorneys, etc. His claim is that he is the watchdog of dirty politics. So many people on the Chatter take every word that he says as gospel and don't even dare question him or where he gets his information.
I have to question this latest thread he started "Another City Vehicle In An Accident? Police Not Called"...this one just doesn't smell right, what do you think?
In his first post he claimed at 9:42 a.m. he received a "report" of another accident involving a city vehicle. He claims it happened on Friday evening and where and that a city vehicle (a red Dodge Durango) rammed the back of a small black Mercedes. He claims neither occupant got out of the vehicles to assess the damage or injury. He claims this violates city policy...and so on.
I have to question the previous paragraph. He says he received a "report" but doesn't elaborate how this report came to him. He claims the City vehicle rammed the other car but yet we will find out there was no damage.
Let's move on a bit. A poster on the Chatter questions SuperMike about his information. His statement was very defensive "I don't just sit around and make this crap up!" He also claims there was witnesses to the accident or he wouldn't have found out. I don't know about you readers, but don't you find this kind of coincidental that there was a witness or witnesses to this so called accident that just so happened to call Mike Hutt a few days later to tell him about it?
Something I find really strange is this "witness'" claim that neither party got out of their vehicle. So you are going to tell me if you are driving a Mercedes and someone "rammed" into the back of you, you would just sit there. Come on now!
Another post made recently by Mike Hutt claims that the employee who was driving the "Durango" came by his house???? WTF?? Why would this City Employee whom Mike Hutt was ready to get in trouble for not reporting an accident just happen to show up at his home? Mike says this mystery city driver explains everything that happened and that his foot slipped and he just bumped the car in front and there was no visible damage. (how would he have known at the time there was no visible damage if neither party exited their vehicles).
The thing that I found most interesting though was the morning after Mike Hutt's first post, a new member joins the Chatter at 7 a.m. named I know it alland at 7:24 a.m. reveals that he/she was the "witness" and saw it all!! They claimed it was a red or mauroon suv and a smaller car (but Mike said the witness claimed it was a mercedes). Don't you find it a little conveinent that this new poster joins the day after Mike Hutt's new complaint about the city and makes two post claiming to be the witness and then you never hear from them again??
So after all is said and done and all the hoopla now Mike Hutt claims everything has been straightened out and he found out that if there is no visible damage the city's policy is that it didn't have to be reported.
My favorite ending to this is when Mike Hutt states "Case closed". What case?? You are really going to have to do better than this Mike. To me, you would be alot more credible if you would get your information straight before you go sticking your "shocking headlines" on the chatter.
Just remember folks, when new people start popping up on the chatter criticizing Mike(s) or anything pertaining to the Chatter you are ready to call them "plants" or "troublemakers", etc. But when folks start popping up to claim they are witnesses to some of NSBHM's claims, get your head out of the sand and look at the whole picture, I know most of you are smarter than that.

Keith Fetz! How dare him!!
Really? Was this such a big deal that The Evening News felt the need to make it the front page headline in the Sunday edition? This wasn't even a surprise to alot of people, especially the ones that read the Chatter. This very subject was already "discovered" a week or so ago by none other than NSBHM..surprise!
I actually thought it was no big deal myself but according to some (Galligan haters) he committed a cardinal sin! Imagine, someone using their position to offer discounts on insurance to fellow city employees. I think he should be impeached!
You have to admire the guy, even after already being tried and convicted by the jurors of the Chatter, he joined just to explain to them that he did in fact go through the proper channels to be allowed to do what he did.
Let's get something straight right away. I am in no way connected to Keith Fetz other than asking him to be my friend on Facebook yesterday. I have to admit I wanted to know a little more about this horrible councilman that would slip a piece of paper in a city employees paycheck offering discounts with HIS insurance company. Seems like a nice enough family guy to me. I won't even hold it against him that he is a Democrat but the whole Keith Obermeister thing I may have to rethink.
I think my whole point is this. When The Evening News gets so desperate that they have to go to the Chatter (Sheavanhoy a/k/a SuperMike) for their Headline News, some of us have to ask ourselves why we are wasting our money ordering this "News"paper.

Anonymous Posters
Before I even started this Blog I was determined it was going to be different from other blogs.
What I mean by that is, I have posted on blogs in the past only to Never see my comment posted because it differed from the majority or because it may have been uncomplimentary to the author of the post.
Although I have some negative posts on my Blog I also have positive posts. I don't want my Blog to become just another venting ground for things I dislike.
Although there is going to be many opinions on the goings on of the Chatter or the people of the Chatter because hence my title "Queen of CCC", I also want to broaden my horizons and talk about many other interesting subjects going on in my life, around town and even around the World.
I may throw in a funny poem, a silly video or even out of this world conspiracy theories but that is what keeps my readers coming back, and indeed, they are coming back!
I was recently asked why I allow people to post "anonymously". One of my main reasons is because I promised myself I was not going to "completely" control every aspect of this blog. I want everyone to have a voice and as long as they stay away from the three no-no's (vulgar language, pornography and threats), I promise to publish any and all comments, unless of course a poster has sent me something in private and wishes it not to be published.
Do I wish everyone would identify themselves at least with a membername? Yes of course. It is my wish that people would only say on here, something that they would feel comfortable saying to my face. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
On the whole, I think I have pretty good folks that visit my blog including those of you who I regularly disagree with. It makes for a fun conversation. Sure, every so often, an immature person tries to cause trouble, but those are few and far between, and it's not because they're anonymous, but because they're jerks. The vast majority of our anonymous commenters (even those we disagree with) add value to the conversation, and blocking them completely seems counterproductive.
My point is, I want everyone to enjoy my blog as much as I do. I want suggestions on subject, comments on my posts and laughter caused by something I say or post. After all, if you cannot enjoy what you are doing everyday, what is the use?

Conspiracy Theories
I have come to realize over the past few months that many people thrive on "conspiracy theories". Some like to start these on the Chatter and some people on their blogs with stories, pictures and even amateurish videos. I have been accused of being an alien, a troll, a seductress, of having multiple screen names, being a plagiarist and even being a man.
After reading or watching these theories I myself realize that I may have my own "conspiracy theory". Here it is:
I am starting to believe that The Evening News and the Chatter are one in the same. What I mean by that is, I am starting to think that SuperMike and Sheavanhoy are the same person.
I have noticed that Sheavanhoy doesn't mind releasing stories to the Chatter before they even hit the Press. I have noticed over the course of the last few months that more and more of the EN staff seem to be appearing on the Chatter.
Now why would a local Newspaper who is suppose to appear unbiased continually make their presence known on a forum that is totally biased when it comes to our local politics. You don't have to guess which way Shea and most of his crew lean because they make it totally obvious.
I don't have proof that Shea and SuperMike are the same but I do know that Shea would not publish an article that I sent in about how unfair I thought the Chatter was when it claims to be a Public Forum. Just so happen that my article (which was very good I might add) somehow just disappeared into thin air. It just so happened that SuperMike and Professor knew all about it too?? Go figure.
I wonder if The Evening News donates to the Chatter. Wonder how much influence the Chatter (Supermike a/k/a Shea (maybe)) has over what the Evening News allows to be printed. Has no one noticed that the focus on Peggy Wilder and Tom Galligan has been heavy and consistent on both the Chatter and the Evening News. You would never know there was any other news going on around our area.
NSBHM jumps on practically every single article written on Galligan and/or Peggy Wilder or any other folks that he thinks is connected with Galligan, but when it comes to stories about Mike Moore or any buddies of Super and NSBHM, it really doesn't get mentioned.
Just something to think about. Do you also notice that a handful of people can bring up whatever or whoever they want to talk about on the forum, but if anyone dare's questions them, they are immediately labeled as a trouble maker or someone just wanting to start drama. It is still amazing to me that the very people that like to point fingers are the very people that probably have more to hide than anyone.
Maybe the next time I write out my check for the paper, I should just put Clark County Chatter on the pay to the order of line.
p.s. - GG ;)

Talktoomuch! You got some splainin to do!!
Sir or madam Talktoomuch, I am afraid to tell you this but you have already sealed your fate on the Chatter.
You have done the "unthinkable" and questioned SuperMike about his Domain! If you have been following the Chatter at all you should know that no one dares question him and gets away with it.
It didn't take long for his defenders to come after you did it? I was just thinking how when I tried to defend myself how I was told "me thinks you protest too much"..etc.
I am wondering if SuperMike would have just come back to you and said, "If you really find it necessary to know the amount of donations that have been given to this forum, I will be more than happy to tell you in a PM, although for the privacy of my donators I will keep who donated what private". That probably would have been sufficient enough and not sounded near as defensive as they are all sounding.
I am quite sure that he is honest in telling you he uses the donations appropriately. I am also sure that he spends alot of time controlling..I mean running the forum, but that was his choice now wasn't it. I do realize that Mike Hutt is the one who approached him about the idea, after all where would Mike Hutt spew all his anti-Galligan rhetoric if it wasn't for SuperMike's public forum. I have to admit that most of SuperMike's hard work and tireless efforts are mostly due to all the threads started by none other than his co-partner NSBHM.
Nonetheless, I hope you have learned your lesson. I hope whoever reads this post will take heed. You do not under any circumstance question the motives or integrity of any Administrator or Moderator on that forum. They are all a team and they are all for one and one for all. As you could tell by Professor's post he practically worships the ground SuperMike walks on. Any man willing to turn over everything including his wife to another man must have total faith in that individual.
So, everybody (SuperMike, Professor, Chopperwoman, TJMOM, and all the rest of the club), please give Talktoomuch another chance to redeem him or herself, they obviously didn't see in the Terms of Use the paragraph that says you will be damned to hell if you cross SuperMike.
****Just a little addendum here for TJMOM..how many posters are you going to accuse of being me? Flattering but I am confident that the Coltsfan Barney Police would have already banned that poster, so give it up and stop with the dirty looks at school okay, you don't impress me much. lol

SSmith (how totally original)
You have to give Missy and company some credit, using a name like SSmith is so generic no one would ever suspect! It just so happens that one day after a board meeting that Missy is at, tada! SSmith joins the Chatter. Not to talk about the conflict of interest any longer that Integrity Matters harped on for weeks, but to discuss the poor taxpayers who are being robbed somehow because of Connie Pavey being transferred. Here is my message to Missy. If she doesn't read it I am sure Integrity Matters can and will pass it along. Missy, you lost. The voters of Clark County spoke and what they said was we don't want you representing our children any longer. We gave you three years and you failed us, that is what they said.
You really need to pull up your big girl panties and find something productive to do. You have that fancy accounting degree so put it to good use. Perhaps you could apply for a job in the Supt's office since IM claims they need someone in there with Accounting experience. If they do not have a job available, perhaps you can get a job at a car lot. That seems like an important enough position for someone with your credentials. I bet someone on the Chatter could even give you a good reference.
It was very admirable to SuperMike to come to your defense and say that he got it from a "good source" it wasn't you or someone you are related to or a friend (God knows he must be magic), but he also said he couldn't prove it. Kind of sounded like doubletalk to me. Anyway, spit out those sour grapes, move on and stop worrying about Connie..or Mark...and concentrate on something you can actually do something about.
A little note here also to TJmom and Overit, I saw your little insinuations suggesting that I may already be back on the Chatter and posting. Are you both really that concerned about what I am doing. Just keep up with my blog and I will do my best to keep you informed of my day to day activities. Besides, overit, you could ask your good friend Mark, lol.
I love my sister and brother-in-law. I am so proud of what he has already accomplished and so proud of my sister for being a respected, highly dedicated worker for over 20 years in the school system. They are so blessed to have Connie and Mark and things are only going to get better because those are two people that keep going forward no matter what obstacles get in their way!
I was accused recently of obsessing about the Chatter. Of course, I am Queen of the CCC, have been for awhile now. I will post about the Chatter whenever I find something humorous or interesting on there. I will also post about other subjects. That is the great thing about blogging, it is great therapy and allows me to do what I love to do, express my thoughts in writing. Try it sometime..you might like it too. :)

Intolerance
Intolerance is defined as "an unwillingness to recognize and respect differences in opinions or beliefs"
It doesn't say anything about not believing what someone says about something or seeing it just the same way as they do.
It says unwillingness to recognize and respect. I can recognize other people's feelings on things and I can even respect them for having their own opinion.
What I do not respect is when someone takes what I say about a certain person or subject and calls me intolerant. I do not want to be called a hater or bi#$h because I may not agree with the majority on a subject.
I bring this up because I took the time today to go back and re-read many of my posts on the Chatter, and I honestly can say that I could not find one single place where I was intolerant of anyone's views. I may not have agreed with them and I may not have liked their view, but I respect that they can give their view.
I am not talking about those who made fun of things I said or who decided long ago that I was the "enemy" because I posted too much, or was on too much, or was too conservative, or because I liked Bush, because those people have proven themselves more than once to just be ignorant.
I saw a post today where Kelley from the EN referred to me as "that other person", like I don't deserve the respect to be identified by my name. She decided that I was crazy and in need of help because I posted something under my husband's member name by accident and immediately upon realizing he hadn't signed out, I deleted the post to post it under my own member name, since the post was obviously from me. But a few people (haters) who jumped on the deleted post before I was able to change it decided they would convict me right away. I wouldn't have been surprised with a couple of them, because they have proven more than once to just be downright hateful people. But Kelley, who I had respect for, is the one who disappointed me the most. I actually used to read her opinions but I have lost all respect for her because of her "intolerance".
I would hope that one day she would apologize to me for accusing me of something I didn't intend to do, but I doubt very seriously that she thinks I matter no more than a gnat on the wall. There are just some that think they are above everyone else. I will not give up hope though.
Just like this mosque. I liked the article in the EN by Tim McDonald. It is not illegal to build a mosque there, but it is a matter of respect. Why didn't we hear about these people wanting to build this mosque before now. Why is it now, that Obama is in office do they decide this is the time and Ground Zero is the perfect place. Coincidental, I think not.
Let us all remember, there are going to be many times in life where people are not going to understand why we do what we do, and there are many things we will do that people do not like, but that should not stop us from doing what we believe in.
Just like this blog. As anonymous has stated, he feels I am just a big meany, that I just want to make fun of people on the Chatter, that I am just mad as heck that I am banned from the Chatter. Well, he is so far off the mark. I will be honest with you, I have been wanting to have a blog for several months now. I was hoping that I could have my blog and still be a member of the Chatter. The problem with that is SuperMike and Coltsfan wanted to dictate what I could and could not say on my own blog. When I would not agree to that, they banned me, plain and simple. I believe they were unfair and I do not believe they are being honest when they say they run a public forum, it is a private forum that the public can use as long as they abide by their rules and beliefs. They, to me are the epitome of intolerant.
So I will keep my blog. I am very excited with the traffic I get daily on my blog, that means someone finds it interesting, perhaps helpful or even entertaining. I will not please everyone with my opinions and may possibly even ruffle a few feathers (which is evident), but I will continue blogging until my fingers can't type anymore.
God I love America!!

Integrity...what a joke!
Here we go again, another asinine comment:
"It appears that the Chatter was used as an advertising ploy. So far, no follow-through on any campaign promises. Sad indeed. Where's the transparency that was talked about so often during the campaign?"
An "advertising ploy". No, you gripey old woman, it was not a ploy it was called campaigning because people on the Chatter wanted to know who was running and what their goals were. I think that is what they gave us on there, even though SOME people could not be satisfied with answers and continued sounding like a broken record about the same topic.
Now you sound as irritating as the idiot Overit. I started a thread about asking Board Members legitimate questions, and last I checked it had been viewed over a hundred times or more and no one has yet to post a question. So obviously YOU and OVERIT are blowing smoke out of your arses.
As far as transparency, you wouldn't know transparency if it kicked you in your uptight arse. What exactly have they not been transparent about? Be specific please, enlighten us. What is it that you think they are hiding, can't wait to hear. Face it, you don't know what you are talking about. Aside from a couple of the old school board members and the new zombie, you have board members who have backbone, who are not afraid to question the backroom deals that have been going on for the last 3 years. You call it "nitpicking", the rest of us call it holding people accountable for their actions.
Try this for integrity, if you don't have anything nice to say, STFU!

Where is your "Integrity" now..or does it not matter
I just saw the most ridiculous thing when checking in on the Chatter. The Superintendent was being discussed and also who is responsible for hiring and firing. There has been a consistent bashing of this man by a certain poster named Integrity Matters. Talk about being a hypocrite. She was the loudest complainer about this man before the new board was elected. Now that her favorite "Missy" got her behind beat in the race, she has suddenly made this big turnaround. Please read an excerpt of this ridiculous post she just made:
... "He will never succeed if certain board members want to nitpick every decision he makes."
Pullllleeeezzze...are we suppose to believe that you just suddenly got this change of heart and now want everyone just to roll over and accept whatever Dr. D puts out there. Let me let you in on a little secret, the 2 new board members that you like to mention so much now, have more integrity in their little fingers then your sour grapes loser has in her whole body.
They were voted in for one reason and one reason only, to hold that low life Superintendent and others on that unscrupulous board accountable for all the underhanded tactics they have been getting away with for the last three years.
Get off your high horse and let them do the job they were entrusted with.

Shame on you Christian!
I felt compelled to write this particular post in light of being accused in my last few posts of not acting "like a christian."
Would someone care to let me in on what exactly a "real christian" is supposed to act like.
I am quite sure that some, like one of my flattering posters, feel that if you don't agree with them, or say everything is beautiful in this world no matter what one does, you cannot possibly be a christian.
I have always felt like being a Christian was to be Christlike. I am no where near able to fit that description. I may be able to consider myself a struggling Christian. I struggle daily to be more like him. Okay, that is not entirely true, I struggle most of the time to be more like him.
Do I make mistakes? Do I say things I shouldn't? Do I sometimes treat people badly? Do I sometimes have thoughts I shouldn't have? The answer to all of those questions is an absolute YES!
I myself have probably accused people in my lifetime of not practicing what they preach. Actually, during the years I was at church everytime the doors were open, taking communion and trying to live the best I could, I do not doubt that I probably looked upon others and thought perhaps I had more of a revelation than they.
After I "left the church" and fell from Grace (or so I thought) those same people who proclaimed to be "Holy Ghost filled Christians" wouldn't even acknowledge they knew me when they would see me in public. That used to really bother me, and I am sure I said horrible things about them.
But now, after being accused of it myself on more than one occasion, I tend to sympathize with them. After all, they are only human. As long as we have to live in this human body we are all going to do and say things we shouldn't. I guess the real test will be, do we learn from any of our mistakes?
I am happy that I still get bothered when I think I have hurt someone. I am glad that I still have to ask people to forgive me for hurting them or perhaps saying something I shouldn't have. If I wasn't able to feel sorry for anything wrong I did or sympathetic for people, if I didn't have a conscious then I would have to believe that maybe God just gave up on me.
I am glad that we have a forgiving God, maybe we could all just strive to be that...forgiving.

Thank you guys!!
Although I only started this blog less than a month ago I have had over 3200 visitors, 850 just in the last week. I am happy everyone is enjoying reading my posts as much as I am enjoying writing them. I look forward to many more posts to come and also hearing from you!
Robbie Valentine is very "Krafty"
How surprised was I when I opened up the Evening News to the Letter to the Editor to find a letter from none other than Nancy Kraft and Robbie Valentine. I am not sure what I find more entertaining, the fact that Nancy wanted to co-write a letter with Robbie or vice-versa. I am sure if we were sitting there with them, you would actually only find Nancy typing from her manual typewriter while listening to her dictaphone with Robbie's voice telling her what to type.
They said their purpose in writing this letter was to teach a lesson on School Board 101. Who are they kidding? Seriously? Nancy can barely remember where the Superintendant's office is located and Robbie doesn't have a clue as to how a real School Board is supposed to be run.
We should give Robbie a bit of a break though, since he does have his plate full with all his legal problems. It is not easy being a board member while defending drunk driving charges, traffic violations, deadbeat daddy charges and tax evasion.
Allow me, just a regular ole parent of a child in the school system to give what I believe is a little lesson on School Board 101.
You need to be honest and transparent when it comes to what your intentions are as a board member. You need to make decisions based on what exactly is best for children and not what favors you owe or what is in it for you. You need to make sure you are setting a good example in and out of the board room and not embarrass the parents and children you are representing and especially your own family.
If you truly want to "promote respect for others" have some respect for yourself. Nancy, have someone sew up the opening in your back so that Robbie and others like him stop using you for their handpuppet. Robbie, do the entire Corporation and our children a huge favor and resign your position on the School Board and take several classes on how to earn respect and how to be a good father and one your children can be proud of.
There are many people in this town that I would be proud to have as a role model for my own son, and you are definitely not one of them.
What's next, should we be expecting a Public Service Announcement from the two of them?

MMM - My Miracle Marriage
This is not going to be a very long post. Not a very interesting post for some. I just wanted to say how happy and blessed I feel that I have such a good marriage. Is it perfect, no. But my husband and I have one thing that has kept our marriage real close to perfect and something I consider more important than just about anything. Respect. I don't think my husband has ever said a single disrespectful word to me. He is probably one of the nicest men I know. He never complains when I ask him to do something and he tells me everyday that he loves me and that he thinks I am beautiful. We have both worked very hard to keep our marriage fresh and interesting. It really is something you have to work at. It is so easy for two people to become stagnant with one another. Many forget that whatever you did to get them, you need to do to keep them. I still get excited when I know he is coming home from work soon. I love waking up with him in the morning and going to bed at night. He is very affectionate and so am I. We will just hug all the time because it feels so good and just makes you feel happy. I didn't find this man until I was 37 but he was so worth the wait. If he reads this I just want you to know honey how much I appreciate everything you have done for my life. God surely blessed me when he brought you into my life. That ain't nothing but the truth. *kisses*

Addendum to my last post (The Dreaded "D" Word)
I just opened up my Facebook in time to read a link to The Evening News on the young man I spoke about in my last blog. He apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The story is, he couldn't cope with being unemployed and not being able to provide for his five children, ages 1-5.
According to his sister, he was addicted to prescription drugs (which is possibly why he couldn't get a job or keep a job) and supposedly so-called friends were coming by the house and giving him drugs.
The sister says she is going to pay for his $7,000 funeral and wants to buy the children birthday and christmas presents. My question is if the sister had these available funds (which I don't see how if her house is being foreclosed) why didn't she offer to help out the family with some expenses and insist that her brother go to rehab in return.
Now the sister wants the community to donate money for the children and the funeral expenses that were incurred because of this father's selfishness. She is even blaming the community for his drug problem. You can't change what you won't acknowlege. Her brother made a choice every time he popped those pills. If he "breathed" for his babies, as was said, then he should have begged to go into rehab. It is always about blaming someone else instead of taking responsbility for your own actions. Accountability!
I do believe suicide is selfish. Instead of being a man and stepping up and doing whatever it takes to care for your young children, you cowardly pop the pills and when you can't "handle" life anymore you decide to take the coward's way out and shoot yourself.
I do hope these innocent children get provided for, but I cannot help but feel this is another situation in where the taxpayers are going to be raising someone else's children for the next 18 years.
If anything, I hope this story makes others think before they decide to have unprotected sex and bring babies into this world when they do not have the means to provide for them. Substance abuse is never the answer to any problems, it just makes the problems worse, not just for yourself, but for all of those around you. There is no excuse for not reaching out for help. If you truly want to make things better for your family, then you do what you have to do, and killing yourself is NEVER the answer.
When is the madness going to stop!

The Dreaded "D" word
Some things are just inevitable right? Death and Taxes. That is what I always heard. Or is it, you can cheat on taxes but you can't cheat death?
It still amazes me that many people think they are going to live forever. They take everyday for granted. Most people don't even stop to consider that this may be their last day on earth. I can say that with certainty by their actions or words.
Treating people with disrespect or saying harsh things to those you love just seem to be second nature for some. Do you realize how much better this world would be if people really did live like this may be there last day?
How many families do you know that are feuding. Each person refusing to pick up that phone or write that letter just to say I'm sorry. How long has it been since you actually said "I love you" to your loved ones. It's almost as if we think its just enough to exist.
What is your purpose in life. Have you ever asked yourself that question. What exactly do you think you were put on this earth for. Do you think it is just good enough to exist and not put forth much effort to do something positive for folks to remember you by.
One of the main things that started me thinking about death was reading the Obits in the paper tonight. One lady was only 46 years old. She left behind a fiance, daughters, granddaughters and even outlived her own mother. How many times have we been told that parents are not suppose to outlive their children. I saw that because she is only a few years younger than me. Did she know she was dying? It says she died at home. Was it sudden or did she have a long drawn out illness. It doesn't say and that makes me sad.
I think the saddest one was a young man who was only 27. The prime of his life. It didn't say he was survived by anyone. Only that he died, where his funeral is suppose to be and where he will be laid to rest. Is he going to just lay in a casket and no one will go see him? Can you imagine dying and then realizing that not one other person on this earth neither knows or cares?
You may find out that when you die your soul actually is able to look down and see yourself laying there. What would you think if you saw no one coming to pay their respects. You may ask yourself then, what was my purpose? Did I love enough? Did I smile enough? Did I make others smile? Did I thank God everyday for giving me life? It may be at that very moment you realize that you did live your life with purpose, or you may realize you didn't do near enough.
At that point its too late.

Everyday Act Of Kindness
I was surfing the Web this morning and came across an organization involving "Random Acts of Kindness". One of their slogans was "a wonderful way to reach across time and space to touch the life of another human being."
This started me thinking. Why must we have a random (haphazard), (not planned), act of kindness? What is wrong with preplanning your act of kindness. Maybe if we all took some time at night, before going to sleep to plan something nice we could do for someone the next day more kindness would actually be done.
In otherwards, what can I do nice for someone tomorrow. Help out a relative, donate to a charity, volunteer at a soup kitchen. Perhaps pick someone out of the phonebook and mail them a card with a nice message. Even better, a trip to the local nursing home just to listen to an old timer who may be otherwised ignored.
Random is fine I suppose, but imagine if every person reading this, once a day did something nice and thoughtful for another human being.
We are always saying how we want this world to be a better place. We get tired of hearing about all the cruelness in the world. Some of us have even said, "if I could win alot of money, I would help so many people". Well, it doesn't take alot of money to make someone smile. It doesn't take riches to give someone hope because now they know someone does care about them.
Let all of us who are reading, try this. The next time you are in a great mood, or maybe even just feeling down, think about someone who may be at home, or sitting in a park feeling low. Think about what you can do to make their day brighter. Don't wait for a random moment, think about this everyday for the rest of your life.
It doesn't take alot of money, it doesn't take alot of time. It just takes one minute to change the day for another human being. Who knows, that preplanned act of kindness, may come back to you tenfold.

Facebook Fakebook
Do you know anyone who doesn't have a Facebook? I have even found myself gasping in disbelief when someone says, "I don't even know what Facebook is". What! Sacrilege!
This has become my new family reunion. I facebook with my parents, my sisters, my children, my friends and sometimes my not so friends. You know, those people who never spoke to you in high school but all of a sudden you get a friend request from them.
The grown up part of you usually accepts the request. The high school part of you wants to send back a message that says, "I am surprised you know my name since you didn't act like I existed when we were in school." I usually don't accept their request because I think we are going to suddenly become lifelong friends, mostly because I want to peek into their photos and pray that they are fat and lonely. I know, that's mean spirited.
What I want to know is how does someone have over 1000 friends? Do they really KNOW everyone on that list. My guess is they want to look super important, or at least feel important. I would just like to find some obscure person and tell them to request friendship from that 1000+ friend person, betcha they would accept.
I made it a point to double back through my friends list a few weeks ago and delete some people. I gave them a "warning" first. I told them in my *Notes that if they didn't post to me at least once every so often, I would delete them. Either some didn't care or some people just stick to their little inner circle when they get on facebook.
What about the people who live out their every moment on Facebook status. You know when they wake up, sleep late, go to the bathroom, have sex, break up, get back together, go shopping, cook out, get a new job, get a pimple, wipe their arse...etc. etc. etc.
Sometimes I just wanta say...SHUT UP! Then guilt overtakes the sarcasm and I realize that there are just some people that want others to know what they are going through. They like the attention, or need the support and just want anyone to notice, anyone. Hence, this blog right?

Political Persuasions
Whenever you are on the Chatter, especially in the "State and National Forum", it doesn't take long to guess what side of the fence most of these posters are on. It also explains why you find so much anger and defensiveness on the left side (perhaps majority rules?) Just thought you might find this interesting:

Public Forum - What makes it Successful
After my latest experience with a public forum it started me thinking about possibly creating my own.
I don't want to make the mistakes that I have just witnessed over the past few weeks with the ridiculous expectations these Administrators/Moderators have.
Just because you "own" your forum does not give you the right to dictate every single aspect of your forum unless you plan on being the only poster. The purpose of a so-called public forum is to give others an opportunity to express their own opinion, not one that must conform to your standards.
In my opinion, there are really only 3 basic things that should not be tolerated. They are Profanity, Porn (nudity) and threats (against another poster or anyone).
Other than those three things, everything else should be allowed. When you start analyzing people's intentions, or assuming they meant something than you are trying to dictate people's thoughts.
One Moderator may see something completely different from another. That happened in my case several times. Of course, the one with the most clout is the one that wins. (or loses?)
Another thing you should NEVER be involved in, and that is what people do outside of the walls of your forum. That is None of Your Business. To impose yourself on another's freedom of speech on their own blogs, forums, facebook or any place else is completely crossing the line.
I know personally that I was warned for the most ridiculous things. Putting up pictures like someone beating a dead horse, because in my opinion people (me included) kept going over and over the same thing. And when it seemed I couldn't get through to someone I put up a cartoon of a woman beating her head against a brick wall, got warned for those or at least had them removed.
Many times I was warned because I was told I was "disupting the conversation." I was even told once I used smiley faces or some avatar to just be a smartass.
These kinds of powertrips from the Adminsitrator will be his/her downfall. You must allow people the freedom to express their opinions without having to worry about repercusions.
I was told more than once, If I didn't like the rules, I could leave, but I decided to stick it out. When I would not or could not conform to their ridiculous demands (the last straw was when a moderator decided they would have to approve of all my post before they allowed it to be posted), I knew that was not the place for me.
SuperMike and Coltsfan, You did me a great service by "banning" me, it has given me a new perspective on how I will conduct a forum if and when I decide to have one.
Thank you.

Get Ready Daeschner!!
Better start wearing Armor to the Board Meetings from now on because bullets are gonna be flying! Now that we have some real men with real spines on the Board looks like the little dirty deeds that have been going on with the GCCS Board are about to be over. Now folks get to experience what a real School Board Member is suppose to be there for. For the past few years we thought it was simply to pick up some extra cash or perhaps get our name in the paper a few times for showing up to vote. Now the gloves are off and Mark Pavey & Kevin Satterly have no fear when it comes to standing up to the good ole boys way of doing things. I realize Nancy Kraft is also new but if you turn her around you will see the opening. She is merely a hand puppet for those who need her vote. Sit back and get ready folks, they have only just begun!

Never Fear My Friends, I will still be "around" lol
First, I get a message from Doltsfan telling me that "All future posts will have to be approved by the moderators...."....(Public Forum)...they will proceed to tell those that are left on their forum that I did not want to adhere to the terms of conditions. What they really mean is they were intimidated that I had so many friends. They were intimidated that I would not bow down to them and kiss their behinds. Everyone that is worth anything, will eventually see...if you don't conform to the fabulous five..you too will be banned, just ask Nhardy. Never fear, with my other ..well...let's just say I will do my part in keeping a close eye on the goings on, on the Wonderful "free speech public forum known as the Clark County Chatter". They should know by now, you can't keep a good Queen down.

The men of the CCC REALLY don't have their Balls???
It was just too much for SuperMike. He couldn't take the fear I was instilling in him. I guess he was SO afraid that my Blog was going to become more interesting then his Forum that he stayed up all night coming up with some way...any way....to try and keep his other members from being Damaged by reading this BLOG. If I didn't find this so pathetic, I would almost have to chuckle!!
So, here is what he came up with. He reminds me so much of one of my Cartoon Characters of the CCC..let's see..which one? Oh yea..SUPEREGO!
BY ACCESSING AND USING ANY SUCH FEATURES, YOU REPRESENT AND AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT:
(here it is..)
• Link to other sites which air personal grievances, attack, harass, threaten, or question the motives of other site members, administrators, moderators, or staff
Gotta hand it to him..good try..thank goodness for Personal Messenger and Facebook!!! (Nothing like Free Speech)

CC of the CCC
I am sure many of you remember Abbybananas, right? It was so funny to read all the things she was in to and it was fun to make fun of her or criticize her, you know...kind of like Erica Kane on All My Children...you just LOVE to HATE her! Well, I decided to tell you about a few more Cartoon Characters of the CCC that you may find amusing and interesting!
Here are the Characters:
Cindiboohoo- Now she is the crazy neighbor lady that all kids fear. She loves being thought of as the Liberal Leader of all time. She almost, well most the times comes across as hating her own Country, hope that is not true. She will fight down and dirty. She doesn't care who she hurts or what she says as long as she gets her point across. She does not like Abbysbananas. She is very Jelous of her popularity and devotes her entire blog practically to her. I wonder how she does out in the working world, I can't imagine her letting anyone tell her what to do. I especially like the Videos, they make so much sense they have been commented on by tons..(okay..like 4 people). But..check them out to show support.
Jewels - She can be as sweet as honey butter one minute and a downright bitch in the next sentence. She is not quite as open about it as the former character but she tries to be very cunning about her put downs. She appears attractive in her cartoon pic but something tells me alot of makeup gets used on that mug, did you see how thick it was? Oh yea, she just got madeover by the Este Lauder lady, must have took all day. She is what you would call the "pet" of the CCC, she does no wrong. How precious. Of course, she made sure she bought her some brownie points with donating to the CCC, some of us..rufuse to stoop so low as to buy our priviledges on the Chatter. Does she have no shame. lol
Overbite - Now this is a fairly new Character of the CCC - overbite came wooshing in on the scene when it appeared Jewels needed a back up. Jewels apparently had to find one of her male buddies to join the chatter and pretend to be a teacher (because no real teacher could possibly have such a horrible attitude about children). This backer of Jewels is constantly having to reinforce how beautiful Jewels is and how he/she loves Jewels...blah blah blah. One time, I actually threw up in my mouth reading about her "attributes" or lack thereof. I hate suckasses, and this person qualifies. Overbite is practically licking the butt of all the "important" (they think) characters of the CCC..quite entertaining.
*** Please check out the post about the GCCS Teacher.
Gumpyfanny - Now this character is a bit hard to define. On one hand this character can be a very loving and caring person. But that can change in a heartbeat if you piss her off. I think Gumpyfanny has had to take a lot of crap off people in her lifetime and I think she has probably put herself last so its probably about time that GF thinks of herself. She wants to kick up her heels and kick some ass. She can be soft...or she can be hard. Gonna keep a close eye on this one cause I have a sneakin suspicion she can easily go all Yolanda Parish on me so I'm gonna keep packin...just in case.
Whosurtaxpayer - I started out not liking this character at all. But then when I delve deeper into this character I realized that he is alot like myself. He doesn't take guff off of anyone, he is honest whether you like it or not and he sees right through the bs that can go on, on the CCC. In otherwards, he calls em as he sees them. We will not always agree, but I think in a weird way, he understands me.
Integritymadhatter - She is an oldie but a ..nope she is just old. She not only comes across as an uptight nosey witch I have been told she resembles such. You need to smile more! She harps and harps on particular issues but she doesn't really do anything to change them. I know one thing...she better be paying her fair share for health insurance! She has joined ranks with Jewels and Cindiboohoo because in the real world, she may not have real friends. But she always has that impressive Accounting Degree that got her a great job...at a car lot. Quite sad.
Doltsfan - This little guy is kind of the Barney Fife of the CCC. Runs around all the time thinking he has found the big conspiracy going on, and he runs back to Andy (Superego)..and swears he has cracked the case! Also, you remember that movie of Men and Mice; "can I pet the rabbits George"...lol..that is Doltsfan. He is very intelligent when it comes to computers, except he still can't figure out how to keep me completely off the CCC!! Of course, he is a little flaky when it comes to social skills. I think he spends way to much time alone with his electronics..if ya know what I mean!
Professed Lvr- I cannot believe I almost forgot one of my special all time favorite characters. He is totally underestimated and unappreciated. He is one of those guys you wanta smack and then make up with in the same second. He is much too good for the CCC and should use his reasoning talents somewhere else. Course I suppose even the CCC should have some balance. The only downfall to the ole Professed Lvr is that he is so far up Superegos butt, Super would have to bend over and cough to get him out.
Superego - This is my favorite favorite character of all time. He wants so hard to appear to be fair and unbiased, but sorry to dissappoint. He doesn't like to be outdone. He doesn't like not being the leading poster on his own forum or he doesn't like that he has not been viewed the most. Darnit. He locks down threads because he has the POWER...but its also a terrific way to get the last word. lol
Whatabadseed - How could I forget Abbysnana's controversial buddy. This guy is so clever and sometimes crude that he sends tingles up my royal leg. I am pretty sure if given the chance he would send Keithobermeister running home to mommy crying like a little girl. Don't go head to head with him because you probably won't win, because duh..he is always right.
JusticetoFit - This is our patriotic Character of the CCC. I don't think this Character has an enemy in the world. I don't think I appreciated this character as much as I could have. I like JusticetoFit because she kinda sits back and watches and takes it all in. Those of few words are usually the ones that people underestimate. I see great things yet to come from JusticetoFit. I am hoping she joins my blog and updates it with "This Day In History" posts.
So these are just a few of the Cartoon Characters of the CCC, entirely ficticious of course. No names have been changed to protect the identity, becauses they are all just made up for fun!
To be continued...

Dreams
I know most people have dreams, but sometimes I wonder if people have the kind of dreams I have!
I have the most detailed dreams, many times I have even jumped outa bed after a dream and wrote it down because I could remember everything. Sometimes I have dreams that make absolutely no sense whatsover.
Most people have probably had the following dreams: Being someplace public and realizing you are standing their partially nude. Taking a shower or using the bathroom where everyone can see. Trying to dial a phone and your fingers just will not work. Trying to run away and your legs feel like they have lead in them.
Sometimes I have had dreams that when I wake up I cringe. Like being intimate with someone I never would be. Killing someone, etc. These are the dreams that amaze me the most because I know I would never even think about those things awake?
There have also been many dreams that when I woke up I was so dissappointed because I thought they were true. Like I have dreamed of striking it rich and getting to buy whatever I wanted. I have dreamed of meeting a very famous person that I have always dreamed of meeting or dreamed of living in my dream home.
Some of the best dreams I have ever had are: dreaming that I get to see my brother again. In my dream he could hear and talk (my brother was deaf and had never heard a real voice, he died when I was 34), we laughed and caught up on so much and he was so happy and not sick, it was wonderful.
I have dreamed that I was able to find a missing child. It was so great to take her home to her mom and dad and know that I got her in time before a bad person killed her.
Of course some of the worst dreams I ever had was finding one of my kids murdered or drowned. Being at a funeral of someone close to me that is still alive in real life. I get scared when I have dreams like that because some of my dreams have actually come true.
My husband can rarely remember his dreams, he said I remember mine because I have a very overactive imagination! He is probably right.

INSECURITES
I have them, you probably have them to. It is normal for everyone to be insecure about something in their life I suppose. I am curious about particular things people seem to be insecure about. For instance, at work I consider myself a pretty good typist. I type approx 100-120 wpm. There are a few who have made comments to me though. They somehow feel they are inferior to me because I type faster, nonsense of course. Each of us have our own niches, mine just happens to be typing. There are some on the internet that appear to be insecure when it comes to this blog. They cannot just be happy that they have a fellow blogger. I was enjoying reading others blogs and thought it would be fun to have my own. Instead of just being happy and following my blog as I do theirs, they want to make a point to include my blog in the best internet "gag", is that suppose to be some kind of Jab?? What is the purpose in trying to insult what I am doing when you are doing the same thing. If you are secure with yourself and your blogging abilities, then my little blog shouldn't be intimidating to you.
I could have played all the silly games and have the so called contests on this one, but that would be taking your ideas, and frankly, I have my own mind. I have no need to try and compete with anyone else's blog and probably couldn't because this is basically just my thoughts and opinions, either you care or you don't.
I admire anyone who enjoys what they are doing and when it brings happiness to others that just makes it that much better. I enjoy others blogs, but when they have to take low blows at others for their own gain, somehow it just makes me feel sorry for them.
Be happy...with yourself.

Blogs - like a car accident
What is the fascination with reading people's Blogs? Come on now, admit it, once you get into the habit of Blog hopping, it is hard to stop. I will be honest with you, before I became the focus of Hoosiertaxpayer's Batblog at one time, I never even looked or thought about a blog. Then his blog led to Goliaths blog, then so on and so on. Now that I have my own blog, I get it. It is not only fun to be able to blog about anything you want to, it's even more fun to know that others are curious as to what you are blogging about!
I am sure that each person probably has a different reason for checking in on your blog. Maybe they find you interesting and want to see what your up to. Maybe they want to make sure your blog doesn't become more popular than theirs. Or maybe they hope to find something you blog about to use againt you somehow. Some people will tell you they think blogs are ridiculous, but those same people can't stop stopping by and taking a look, kind of like someone watching the aftermath of a car accident.
I personally find people very interesting. I think their writings tell so much about them. Sometimes even more than they may want you to know. For some it is an ego thing. Some might think that about me, and perhaps that may be part of it, I will admit that, but one thing I know for sure, I love it and I plan on blogging till the cows come home.
So, you are welcome to stop by anytime you want. Secretly, (shhhhhh...we can't let anyone know that you may find Abbysnana interesting)...or you can be brave and follow my Blog publicly and even be so daring as to leave a comment or two. Come on......I'll leave the light on for you. :)
